SPOKEN WORDS
Ray Guillermo (AKA Array-of Words): a Canadian Festival of Spoken Word finalist with the Kingston Pen Slam team. He has traveled extensively with his poetry, from Canada to South America. Array-of Words is the current director of the Ottawa Youth Poetry Slam.
He will be giving away FREE workshops for the youth

Join Carleton and Ottawa U Filipino student association as they demonstrate traditional Filipino fiesta games from the Philippines.

Cancer fundraiser and hair donation
Christian and Clare Cancer Fundraiser & Hair Donation
During Lola’s Fest, Christian and Clare will be cutting their hair to donate it for a cause close to their hearts. They will be raising funds the Canadian Cancer Society, an organization that works tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. By donating their hair and collecting donations we hope to bring a ray of hope and support to those undergoing cancer treatments.

Prophetic Cutz giving FREE haircuts for the youth
Come and enjoy a FREE haircut from a community driven barbershop : Prophetic Cutz . Due to high demand, it will be first come first serve and we can only serve limited amounts of people.
Our purpose is to empower the Vanier and the whole Ottawa community through arts and culture.
Everyone is invited to join us in this celebration!
